Business Bootcamp: “Make Every Networking Encounter an Effective One”.

The session concentrates on a “how to” perspective of networking most effectively and efficiently.

Surviving, and thriving, during difficult economic times is challenging – particularly for small businesses. The Chamber is introducing a new (& renewed) series of monthly programs that will provide members with opportunities to connect with, and learn from, fellow members and industry experts.

Small Business Connection will meet the third (3rd) Friday of each month, and include two elements. The first element, kicking off on January 22, is the Business Roundtable facilitated by SCORE consultant Richard Krelstein. Business Roundtable is an open discussion that addresses questions brought to the table by attendees, and encourages information exchange between members. The second element, Business Bootcamp, will offer presentations by speakers and experts on a variety of topics that can help business grow. This educational opportunity will include information on networking skills, marketing and advertising tips, labor law issues, and more.

Each Small Business Connection is held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber offices, and admission is $10 for members, $25 for ‘future- members.’ Light refreshments served. Advanced reservations for all events are highly recommended as space is limited.
